20th May 2006 Windsurfing: Cooden Wind Direction: SW/WSW Wind Stength: F5-7 Surf / Sea State: lumpy Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Turned up to find most people on 5.7 to 5.2, but a few were changing down. Wierd as it didn't look too windy and it didn't feel it on the beach. Rigged my 5.0 and plugged it into the Synchro. Did one run with big floaty jumps, but had way too much board, so came in to switch and apply more downhaul. Wind kept building so swiftly came in to change to 4.5m. Wind kept building to ferocious levels and most people called it a day, but stupidity called me to the water and I had another 10 minutes getting battered by the wind -great jumping today though! |
